Solaris Grille Description:
An oak bar room gives way to a bright, light, pastel-hued dining room that in turn looks to a garden room. It's a contemporary setting for the contemporary cooking of John Anderson, formerly of Striped Bass. City folk as well as preppy Chestnut Hill neighbors especially enjoy the grills that feature steaks and straightforward fare. They may start with Parmesan-dusted calamari, or a vibrant toss of Boston lettuce with Granny Smith apples, blue cheese, spicy cashews and a honey-sesame vinaigrette. Not in the mood for meat? Try the Indonesian soy-brushed salmon or the tilapia with crab meat, tomatoes and garlic over mashed potatoes. Solaris features live music and offers wine tastings.
