Fans of Dmitri's in Queen Village also favor the Center City location, which offers more elbow room as well as a liquor license. The leafy green of Fitler Square is a fine backdrop for this neighborhood place that has become a hangout for local couples and graduate students alike. The bare-bones décor doesn't deter from the just-caught freshness of the grilled calamari, tender octopus and simply prepared whole fish. All of the mezzes are addictive, and the hummus is first-rate.
