The decor, designed Philippe Starck, is modern - the translucent chairs and cushions increase the pervading feeling of lightness. The modernity of the cuisine matches the decor.
On the banks of the Seine in an Art Deco building once belonging to La Samaritaine department store, Kong boasts a spectacular view of the river and lovely Left Bank. The surprising décor is an original mélange of contemporary pop art-inspired motifs. In the kitchen, refined world food pleases the stylish patrons who also come here for the happening lounge scene and custom-created sound track.
