Review :
This your typical pricey restaurant where people who want to be seen & show off go, & don't care about quality of food.
The best part of my experience was the English speaking waiter who I believe was the head waiter.
The food wasn't seasoned properly which was surprising because Panamanians usually over salt things. So no flavor on everything unless you count vinegar which I don't count as vinegar is, in my opinion, a cheap way to try & season food. Not to mention it's very unhealthy for the body.
It is on the expensive side & the portions are very small.
I thought I was in a French restaurant at one point, certainly not an Italian one.
The last straw was when the waiter who doesn't speak English forgot my brocoli, so I had to wait & was finished my ravioli by the time it arrived.
No apology, no taking it off the bill, no free desert, nothing.
Unfortunately this is typical in Panama since they don't believe in customer service & it's rare to ever hear a Latino apologize for anything.
Then they tried to show the prices of the tip for the total that includes tax. Tip should never be calculated on the tax, ONLY the food total. Again, something many restaurants get away with in Panama & if they charge you tip automatically, unless you speak up, you end up paying that extra cost.
For that reason plus the broccoli, I gave only 10% & he's lucky he got that.
It was a waste of $27.
