Hans Nooter and Harry Koeman established Café the Plaza in October 1991. They chose the Seaport Market Place as their location in the heart of the city on the L.G. Smith Boulevard. During the 17 years since Café the Plaza opened, it has become a café with a Dutch/tropical atmosphere popular with both tourists and locals.
