My husband and I were so disappointed about our outing to the Chelmsford’s McDonalds last night. With this beautiful weather the restaurant was full of costumers and only one server was on hand to deal with all the demands. The very polite young server did her best to get all the orders. It took nearly 40 minutes before we got our food and she apologized for the delay many time. We felt sympathy for her. Clearly this restaurant is sadly understaffed. Once our tray in hand, we entered the seating area and what an eye opener; not a single table was clean! They were all littered with uncollected rubbish that had been left by other customers. I perceived to go to the bathroom and soak some napkins in order to clean our table and benches. The floor of the restaurant was just disgusting. Dirt and debris were all over. Under the tables crushed French fries and pop spills were everywhere. The inside windows and doors were also disgusting not to mention the women’s bathroom. We were so disappointed and also quite shocked. We reminisced about the first years when the restaurant use to be so clean and comfortable. We ate in a rush a vowed never to enter that restaurant again. From now on we will make the trip to Sudbury if we really want a Big Mac. I would advise the manager of this store to hire more students or adults, have at least one on cleaning duty constantly and two to three at the cash for service. McDonald's, you can really do so much better! Why ruin your reputation! How disappointing and time wasting for a fast food restaurant! We have never come across any other McDonald's franchise being left in such a disgusting state.
