Ho Wah Chinese Restaurant Description:
Between inexpensive starters and soups and more elaborate main courses, there's something for every taste and budget. We like going with a large group---there are so many dishes on the menu we don't want to miss any of them. The crab Rangoon is crispy and sweet, and you'll want to get as many dumplings as you can before they disappear. When it comes to entrées, we recommend the honey walnut chicken. Another must-have: the Eight Precious Pearl duck, which includes boneless breast of duck, shrimp, chicken, barbecue pork, mushrooms, water chestnuts and a bevy of vegetables. Other standouts include pepper steak and stir-fried asparagus with chicken or beef, shiitake mushrooms, carrots, scallions and peppers in spicy black bean sauce. Ask for a doggie bag if you must and a couple of fortune cookies before hitting the road.
