WINTER GOODWILL GAMES 2000

The first ever Winter Goodwill Games will be held at Lake Placid, New York from February 17-20, 2000. The seven sports that will contested at the inaugural Winter Goodwill Games are: bobsled, figure skating, luge, skiing, ski jumping, snowboarding, and short track speedskating.

•From New York City and New Jersey:
Take the NY Thruway to exit 24 Albany/Montreal. North on Route 87/Adirondack Northway 104 miles to exit 30 Lake Placid/Olympic Area. West (left) on Rt. 73 for 17 miles to village of Keene. Right on Rt. 9N to Upper Jay/Whiteface Mountain. Travel 7 miles, across small bridge, then left on fork, County Road 12/Springfield Road to Whiteface Mountain/Town of Wilmington.

•From Montreal:
South on Adirondack Northway, Rt. 87, to exit 34, Lake Placid/Olympic Area. West (left) on Rt. 9N to Jay. West (right) on Rt. 86 to Whiteface Mountain/Town of Wilmington.
