If you've decided to venture to the Bronx, here's some tasty enticement: the ramshackle restaurant at the end of the island serving old-fashioned, deep-fried, batter-dipped seafood. Shrimp, clams, oysters, porgies and whiting are served up along the cafeteria line still steaming from the boiling oil, and are piled high on paper plates. Try steamed shrimp and clams with cole slaw and french fries, grab a cup of beer and enjoy the view of the tethered sailboats, Long Island and Manhattan.
