Consider yourself lucky if you're able to secure a table at Nick & Toni's. The huge wood-burning oven in the back of the dining room may be the star of the culinary show, but don't be surprised if you find yourself dining next to real Hollywood stars. Patrons come in for the warm and attentive service as well as the creative Mediterranean fare prepared with care by chef Joe Realmuto. His focus is on local ingredients and organic produce grown in the restaurant's own garden, and he delivers winners night after night. The whole grilled fish sprinkled with fragrant olive oil and fresh herbs is first-rate as is the zucca pizza, a mix of butternut squash, robiola and bacon. Meat-lovers will enjoy a veal loin served with risotto Milanese. Maybe with the trio of panna cotta and a sip of limoncello you will muster the courage to ask for that autograph.
