This crowded, convivial neighborhood bistro boasts a formidable wine list to go with its selection of European beers and ales. For starters, try the tortilla-crusted shrimp served with chipotle mayonnaise and guacamole or the warm pistachio goat cheese salad. Entrées include the duckling with portobello and morel mushrooms, shallots, thyme, brandy and lingonberries; and the spiced lamb sirloin, seared and sliced over garlic-mashed potatoes with a barbecue glaze. From October to February, wild game, such as barbecue rattlesnake salad, antelope au poive or kangaroo, is also featured on the menu. Regulars can't get enough of the warm apple cobbler.
