Dominick's Description:
The décor is minimal, the service can be subpar and dessert is nonexistent, but this Bronx mainstay continues to attract lovers of Southern Italian cuisine looking for the real thing. Appetizers here include baked clams and stuffed artichokes, and among the more popular entrées are the roast veal and the pork chop with hot cherry peppers. Of course, a number of pastas are available, too, many with red sauce. Dominick's doesn't take reservations, so be prepared to wait; also, since the servers keep the menu and wine list in their heads, be prepared to listen before ordering.
