Beer Table Description:
This small Park Slope restaurant is barely big enough to hold three long communal tables. But if you nab a spot and you like hard-to-find artisanal beer (and the food that's thoughtfully paired with it), then you'll want to stay awhile. The long, ever-changing list of 25 bottled beers (and three or four on tap) spans the globe; some 750 ml bottles of rare brews can top the $100 mark. The staff is very knowledgeable about hoppy beverages and is happy to make recommendations, especially on food pairing. The brief, daily-changing seasonal menu is loaded with beer-friendly fare: meaty butter beans with smoked bacon on bread, beef stew, and juicy malt-infused pork sausage.
