With some decorating nods to the French (the long, cozy wooden banquettes and thin strips of faux-aged mirrors that run along the wall evoke a brasserie-like ambience), Bao Noodles serves up home-style traditional and hearty fare from all regions of Vietnam. Try the pork belly braised in coconut juice and served with hard-boiled eggs. The Hanoi style fish is cubed, deep-fried, finished with turmeric, dill, chilies, and fish sauce. Pho is a menu staple as are, as the restaurant's name suggests, several variations on traditional noodle dishes.
