Astoria's premiere sushi spot, JJ's Asian Fusion and Sushi Bar is a small, romantic, bamboo-lined hideaway in the heart of Astoria. The atmosphere on any given night can be festive or romantic, and the menu runs the gamut from traditional sushi, sashimi and rolls to crispy duck in tamarind sauce and what New York magazine called the "Best Pot-Stickers in New York" - JJ's own edamame dumplings in a wasabi cream sauce. The menu also features a large Sake list. Cost is moderate, with the 8 pc. Sushi B (including soup or salad and tuna roll) comes in at $13.95
