Thom's Bar Description:
The regular haunt of local and visiting celebs and hipper-than-thou downtowners, this minimalist bar (located in the equally sleek 60 Thompson hotel) is a see-and-be-scene SoHo spot, not unlike a place featured in the pages of any design magazine with an asterisk in the title. The relatively low-key atmosphere makes it a great spot for a date or a place to chat without having to compete with the loud bruisers at the next table. Comfy brown leather chairs, a dark wood floor and a massive fireplace in the corner may make you want to check in to the hotel.
