Bar Pleiades Description:
The creation of Bar Pleiades was part of a recent 60-million-dollar renovation to The Surrey hotel on the Upper East Side. Like its adjacent sister restaurant Café Boulud, the cocktail menu is organized in four sections: "La Tradition" (classics), "La Saison" (drinks inspired by the seasons), "Le Potager" (featuring ingredients from farmers' markets) and "Le Voyage" (globally influenced). Mixologist Cameron Bogue's creations include the Fortune Teller, which is made with reposado tequila, Lillet Blanc, Chinese five spice grilled lemon, honey and cardamom.
