Abraco Description:
The coffee drinks at this pint-size coffee shop in the East Village don't come with much variation, and you'll be urged to have a smaller drink at the counter instead of taking it to-go. Still, even the drip coffee is made to order, and you can get specialties like a cortado---essentially a quarter-latte---made with fresh almond milk. The food, from chef Elizabeth Quijada, is of a far higher quality than you'd expect from the postage stamp-size kitchen. From a dense olive oil cake or cured olive cookies to a fluffy frittata and gooey blackberry brioches, Quijada turns out an impressive array of foods.
