Meson Sabika Description:
This stately, circa 1847 mansion has many elegant and date-appropriate dining rooms. And when the place is percolating, it's as spirited as a passionate flamenco. Unfortunately, the food doesn't always match the spirit; it can come off as too predictable, too uninteresting. But when it's good, it's good. When dining here, our go-to dishes include jamón Serrano, garlicky potato salad, bacon-wrapped dates and pepper-crusted beef brochettes with horseradish sauce and caramelized onions. It's all familiar stuff, but it doesn't let us down. The sangría is terrific, so be sure to order a pitcher.
