Gourmet Hot & Spicy Description:
A menu of more than 150 choices offers the Greatest Hits of Chinese standards, from pineapple chicken to sweet-and-sour pork, with some Thai dishes and a wide selection of sushi and sashimi. General Tao's chicken has a tangy sauce that plays off nicely against chunks of green and red bell peppers. Even though the lunch specials are inexpensive and generous it's the costlier sit-down buffet that draws families (kids younger than twelve pay half price) and friends. Few dishes are truly "hot & spicy" but the beef is surprisingly tender even when it's battered and deep-fried while the pan-fried Cantonese noodles, roast duck salad, peanut shrimp and eggplant with Thai sweet basil are especially flavorful. The crisp vegetables, tofu and seafood dishes such as salmon topped with ginger and scallions are fragrant and light. Peek into the open kitchen, always sizzling hot, for a look at the synchronized mayhem that goes on behind the scenes at one of the more elegant and contemporary Chinese dining rooms outside of Chinatown.

You could either order individual dishes or you can order all- you- can- eat at your table, brought to you by a waitress/waiter. This gives you a good chance to taste dishes you have always wanted to try, but didn't . We were four people, and we ordered many dishes, which were delicious.
The portions were the perfect size, and you end up tasting quite a few new foods.

We ate here on December 22, 2007 and it was not a memorable experience at all. We had the all you could eat where you order from the menu. All of the chicken and beef dishes contained very little of substance. You had to look for the chicken on the plate. The Thai and seafood salad was a poor excuse for a Thai salad of which I have had many excellent ones. There was very little seafood in this salad and no mango which is a staple of a good Thai salad. The "sizzling" shrimp was anything but "sizzling" - the sauce was starchy and dead. The plate of steamed rice was cold. I'll spare you any further misery. I have had better meals here - maybe this was an off-night. I understand that since re-opening from the 'water damage' nothing has been the same. Hopefully they can get their act together...
