Kelsey's Restaurant Description:
Kelsey's in St-Laurent is a typical chain restaurant that trades on neighborhood flair. The franchise's twist is its "cheerfulness" revealed through the use of the "Cheers" TV show theme song as a corporate tune as well as its motto: "Cheers to good food." The similarities with the TV show or the Boston restaurant end here although the menu is diverse enough to please a whole neighborhood. It features typical American dishes such as chicken wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta, chicken breast, steaks, ribs and seafood. The chain also promotes itself as a kid-friendly place with a menu of children's meals, desserts and some limited entertainment offered for birthday parties. The décor is sports-oriented---with sports TV channels on the screens and sports memorabilia on the walls; however it offers enough intimacy away from the play-by-play for couples or families. At the friendly bar, draft, bottled beer and a large selection of spirits are also available.
