I have beeb eating Esteys since I was small. live in ON now and it is the first thing I get when I go home. It has never changed over the years and that is a good thing the place still loks the smae. NEVER CHANGE IT!!! The best in Canada, maybe the world, who knows

The best in the Miramichi bar none, considering the area has many, many fish and chip shops in a small area. Atmosphere is low because it's only a take-out.

GREAT place to eat! I travel from St.John for Supper once a month with my husband! Yes, thats right...we drive 3 hours to eat Estey's Fish & Chips!
the only thing i would reccomend in the near future...is updating the waiting area and getting a debit machine!
I own a business-- so i know what it's all about! However, i feel they would get MORE business if it were updated and had a debit machine! Then it would draw more people in because you could have a GRAND Opening of the NEW & Improved Estey's!

It is a a bit pricey...but You GET what you pay for!
As for the comment below...yah- they don't have a Debit machine but thats whole jist of their business...its a family owned business for what 60 years or something...They are keeping the tradition alive!
If you ask me...they are smart business people who know how to make money! Debit Machine=More money they have to pay out...to rent the machine, internet set up etc.
