Parking:

The following is a list of parking facilities (free after 5PM and on weekends):

Civic Center Ramp
First Street Ramp
Center Street Ramp
Second Street Ramp
Numerous surface lots surround the Civic Center.
All ramps are connected to the Civic Center via skyway.

General Rules:

No cameras or recording devices.

Upon Rochester Police Department recommendation, the Mayo Civic Center will begin implementing the following safety and security measures for all public events effective Sat Oct 27, 2001:

* Patrons should enter the Mayo Civic Center via skyway or the Circle Drive Main Doors. In most cases, all other entrances will be locked.
* All purses, bags and briefcases are subject to search.
* Items such as sharp objects, weapons, pocket-knives, chains, aerosol spray cans and noisemakers such as cow bells, whistles and fog horns will be confiscated.
* Backpacks, coolers, containers of any kind including water bottles, and outside food and beverages cannot be brought into the Center and will be confiscated.
* Vehicles will not be allowed to park in fire lanes, loading zones, docks or service areas. Unattended vehicles will be ticketed and towed.
* Any vehicles parked near entrances, on patios, sidewalks or grassy areas or in Mayo Park will be ticketed and towed.
* All service doors, including Door 12, will be locked and unavailable for public access.

The public's patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.


Driving direction to Mayo Civic Center Presentation Hall:
From Interstate 90: Exit on Highway 63 North. Turn right onto Second Street SW, and the Mayo Civic is two blocks ahead.

From Highway 52 North: Exit on Civic Center Drive. Follow Civic Center Drive East, and the Mayo Civic is 20 blocks ahead.

From Highway 63 North: Turn left on Second Street SW, and the Mayo Civic is two blocks ahead.
