Quang Restaurant Description:
Once a tiny deli, now Quang looks more like an American coffee shop than an ethnic eatery. But it still serves authentic Vietnamese soups (pho) and noodle salads (bun) along with a French bread and beef curry soup. Best of all, the bigger space means we no longer need to wait for a table. Novices will want to avoid the beef tendon and tripe and stick to basics such as the bun thit bo nuong, a salad of grilled beef, cold rice vermicelli noodles, shredded cucumber and sprouts. Topped off with some hoisin (sweet, plummy) or sriracha (hot, vinegary) sauce, this enormous bowl of noodles and meat is one of the best values in town.
