Located just 40 minutes from Ann Arbor and Toledo, Evans Street Station is truly a destination restaurant. Tucked just off the southeast corner of Chicago Boulevard and South Evans Street in charming downtown Tecumseh sits the celebrated little jewel of an eatery. Housed in the town’s former fire station, the only clues indicating the building’s previous incarnation are the red exterior paint and the siren that sits on the rooftop. Inside, guests relax in the beautifully renovated interior spaces featuring warm mahogany wood and a stately fieldstone fireplace.
Whenever possible, Evans Street Station acquires ingredients from local growers and producers. Strong partnerships have been developed with several farms throughout the area. Evans Street is one of just a few restaurants in the entire state of Michigan that cook entirely from scratch. All stocks, pastas, breads, and desserts – everything is made in-house. Guests can definitely taste the difference and it’s a beautiful thing!
