The big dining rooms are decorated with Chinese artwork, including a colorful stained glass ceiling, which was imported in pieces and reassembled here. Its authentic Chinese fare draws an international crowd, although those looking for the familiar American-Chinese favorites will find them here, too. Choose from interesting fresh fish and seafood dishes, the main ingredients plucked from a huge tank, as well as options such as braised duck with Chinese mushrooms, Hong Kong eggplant and minced pork stir-fried with ginger and garlic. Another find: beef short ribs with spicy salt. It would take a diner forever to sample everything on the extensive menu, which represents many regions of China and includes everything from upscale lobster and crab selections to the down-to-earth breakfast dish and student favorite, congee. Dim sum is served daily from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
