The small community of Douglas and its neighbor Saugatuck are known for their beaches, art galleries and fine cuisine, and The Blue Moon Bar & Grille suits its environs. The restaurant's interior virtually glows with orange and yellow and the glittering of numerous art glass pieces. Dine at a secluded table for two, or meet friends and spread out over the pillow-bedecked benches. The menu includes dishes from all over the world: Caribbean jerk pork tenderloin; caramelized onion-encrusted Lake Michigan whitefish; soy-glazed scallops with stir-fried noodles; and a gussied-up burger with garlic, rosemary, roasted red bell peppers and bacon.
