Sean O'Callaghan's Description:
Designed as a traditional Irish pub house, this charming restaurant looks like something out of old Dublin with polished wood surfaces, an antique-like back bar, evocative framed photos from the Old Country and lilting Irish music in the background. The menu includes dishes such as bangers and mash, fish 'n' chips and corned beef and cabbage. Seafood selections include cedar plank-roasted salmon and rare seared ahi. Trimmings and accompaniments hit a more upscale note with potato-apple soup, Caesar salad and smoked salmon. The price structure is closer to upscale restaurant than pub. Daily specials---green plate specials here---include Wednesday's leg of venison with potato-leek gratin and cider relish and Saturday's whole lobster with whiskey sauce. Sandwiches and salads are available at both lunch and dinner, and beer is, of course, the drink of choice.
