Let's focus on the positive. Celtic's (part of a local chain) is packed most nights, especially weekends, with well turned out singles looking for action, competent cover bands that get better as bar tabs mount, and an authentically fake Irish pub feel that really works for Mexican Hibernia-philes. The jukebox isn't half bad and there's a nice selection of imported beers and hard-to-find whiskeys. But you'd better have another before you order your pub-grub. We suggest bypassing the burger and the Irish "sausage" plate. Fish 'n' chips are mushy; more ambitious offerings include grilled seafood, salads and steaks. Better to have another pop and flirt with your fellow patrons.
