Anderson's Reforma Description:
A large, but manageable, menu of soups, salads, steaks and chops, as well as a limited number of traditional Mexican items (enchiladas, cheese fondues, etc.), are offered at this eatery that looks somewhat like a glorified T.G.I. Friday's. Oysters Rockefeller is a solid dish; even better is the sopa de Manolo, an unusual combination of old-fashioned Mexican tomato broth-based noodles and creamy black bean purée. A stuffed chicken breast (Dutch-style, i.e., filled with two kinds of cheese and served over a mild tomato cream sauce) is flavorful and hearty, and nicely paired with mashed potatoes. Other offerings, such as a creamed spinach side that smacks of granulated sugar, leave us puzzled. Still, the friendly, professional service makes up for any culinary irregularities.
