You'll discover Mexican haute cuisine on the fifth floor of the colonial-style Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Resort & Spa. Dine among contemporary Mexican art while enjoying the changing, soft hues of the sky and Sea of Cortez at sunset. Located just a short drive outside Cabo inside the Cabo del Sol golf resort community, this place is worth the trip. Salads are prepared with locally grown produce; the yogurt topped Ensalada Mexicana is a favorite. Dishes range from lobster tacos and shrimp, beef and chicken fajitas to Sonoran beef and fresh local seafood entrées such as mahi mahi and lobster. Girasoles offers a full bar, a good wine list and an extensive tequila menu. The hotel lobby is full of colonial antiques while outside is an authentic agave press from a tequila distillery.
