Panda Express Description:
Chinese fast food, served cafeteria-style in a cheery setting, is much better than one would expect. Choose your carb: Chow mein, fried or steamed rice, and then pile on your choice of entrées. Mandarin chicken with a chili, soy sauce and citrus glaze and beef with broccoli are our favorites. Both can take a wait in the steam table before serving without loosing their texture. On the other hand, deep-fried dishes like the kung pao chicken and sweet and sour pork were a bit soggy, having lost their crispy exterior while sitting in the steam table. Service is beyond most cafeterias, with servers walking the dining area offering extra lemon slices for your water, bringing refills on your drinks and arriving just in time with a fortune cookie to finish off your meal.
