Review :
My son and I thought we would try this place for dinner tonight.
Food was very basic (dim sims were the fish and chip shop variety, not the real thing), but not overly expensive.
However, one of our two main dishes ($ 17.00) tasted metallic, and I told my son not to eat it. Mentioned it to the hostess, who said : 'I will take it backstage and get it tasted.
If they agree, you won't have to pay'. She came back and said she had given it to the boss, not the chef, who said it was OK.
I then asked her if she'd go halves on the price for that dish. She refused, so I said 'OK'. No point arguing.
What she did not realise is that she won the battle but lost the war : got her $ 17.00, but no tip, and I will never go there again, nor my friends.
How stupid is that ? And my son (who ate more of that dish than me) had diarrhea by the time we got home.
So no, I would not recommend this place.
I have eaten Chinese meals for nearly 40 years, and have been to China over a dozen times, so I know my Chinese,
and I am not going to be told it's to do with the style, etc. - they trotted out all the usual excuses...
Thank you and Goodbye!
