Part of a family-owned local chain, this restaurant offers authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Soft tacos made with grilled corn tortillas come with a choice of fillings---from chicken, chorizo, barbecue pork, beef cheeks, brains or tripe. Burritos are wrapped in flour tortillas and may be ordered "wet," meaning smothered in a vibrant sauce. Prawns in their shells are sautéed in butter and garlic or cloaked in a lively chili sauce. We suggest the chicken in a spicy pipian sauce thickened with ground green pumpkin and sesame seeds.
