Bristol Bar & Grille Description:
This branch of the multi-location Louisville-owned casual restaurant occupies a reclaimed Victorian building with a cast-iron façade and high ceilings. When the weather cooperates, enjoy the brick-enclosed patio with a great view of the historic façades across the street. Bristol signature appetizers include green chili wontons, artichoke fritters and black bean soup. The California Club is a large salad brimming with seafood, avocado, black olives and artichoke hearts. Main dishes include a steak sandwich with béarnaise sauce, and a good selection of creative pasta dishes. Guest craft beers rotate through the bar taps. The bourbon selection is quite notable, too, and there's a very good wine list. The Sunday brunch buffet includes a waffle station, fried chicken and a beef carving station.
