This chalet-style outpost of Belgian cuisine features a menu of authentic dishes and warm hospitality that can make guests forget all about the suburban scene outside. Start with a choice from the list of French wines, though the Belgian beers offered may make a more fitting accompaniment for chef-owner Clémentine Desmet's traditional, home-style cooking. Her specialties include pots of fresh, steamed mussels served with log-piles of hand-cut Belgian fries; cubes of fall-apart beef in a thick, almost congealed sauce that embodies all the sweetness and tartness of a Trappist-style ale (carbonnade à la flamande); and thick, pillowy crêpes, both sweet and savory. A striking, true-to-life mural of Brussels' Grand Place adorns one of the walls. PS: Don't leave without trying the Crêpe Clementine with sliced apples, flambéed in Grand Marnier.
