Toscanova Description:
Restaurateur Agostino Sciandri (AGO) is behind Toscanova, a trattoria that brings a bit of Italy to the Westfield Century City mall. Guests can belly up to the bar and fill their bellies, or take a seat in the dining room, which is segmented into different areas. Executive chef Davide Vedovelli offers a menu of Northern Italian dishes including appetizers like fried calamari and zucchini, and mozzarella with tomato and basil. A few pizzas are available, such as the "Bianca e Rucola" (cheese and arugula), as well as more than a dozen house made pastas including risotto with seafood or mushrooms. The "Carne & Pesce" portion of Toscanova's menu features dishes such as Mediterranean sea bass with tomato, potatoes, onion and olives. The simple wine list is accented with Italian selections.
