The Proud Bird Description:
The most important thing about this restaurant-banquet complex is its remarkable proximity to LAX---indeed, just beyond the end of one of the airport's runways. If you're an aviation buff, you'll love the wall-mounted tributes to various flying aces, the historic aircraft displayed on the restaurant grounds, and the 747s coming in for a landing outside the window, so close you could practically touch them. The food---Caesar salad, crab-stuffed mushrooms, steaks, blackened catfish---while decent, is secondary.
