Katsuya Description:
Master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi and designer Philippe Starck continue their collaboration with Katsuya Hollywood. Guests enter to find a bar area featuring an array of sushi knives suspended in blocks of clear resin pedestals and a blazing red kimono suspended above. Oversize, glowing photos of a Japanese geisha look down on diners from the restaurant's walls. Custom rolls and sushi and sashimi platters are specialties, as well as offerings like Kobe filet with foie gras in plum wine soy sauce.
