L'Scorpion Description:
Chris Heyman and Josh Woodward are behind L'Scorpion, which wants to be known as a tequila bar. But it also serves a limited menu composed of, not surprisingly, Mexican dishes. Indeed, they do a great job with the tequilas---there are 150 different varieties available by the shot, with some of them very rare like the Don Fulano "Metal" (five years) at $75 per. If you like margaritas, definitely try one made with fresh juices, a L'Scorpion special. If you are lucky, you will find a seat at one of the few leather booths where you can experience south-of-the-border cuisine, which, for once, is light and tasty. Choose between the classics like guacamole, ceviche, chiles rellenos, enchiladas, quesadillas or gorditas. So eat or drink? Your choice, but for sure you will enjoy the busy scene.
