Faulkner's Description:
All the trappings of a genuine local restaurant are here. It's a proper locale, quite smart in fact, with old photos, a tiled floor, a takeaway and a list of fish from reliable cod to haddock to Dover sole bought fresh from Billingsgate market. Started by Mr. Faulkner after he sold the Seashell in Lisson Grove, and now under different ownership, the restaurant does a good job of providing for both its neighbours and for those coming from the East End and lively Ridley Road Market (about ten minutes' walk away).
