County Hall Restaurant Description:
This restaurant is surprisingly good but sadly seems to be neglected by many Londoners who don't even know it exists. Rather, it is patronised by the hotel's guests and employees of the many local businesses and corporations who enjoy striking views of the Thames, Houses of Parliament and the London Eye from the comfort of the beautiful bar and dining room. The mainly European slant of the restaurant's menu focuses on seasonal ingredients, and the chef clearly enjoys cooking seafood. Try mushroom risotto to start, followed by grilled meat and round off with a comforting hot chocolate fondant. Set lunch 2 courses £22, 3 courses £26.
