Tea is a shop selling a wide range of teas, and a tearoom that serves freshly made sandwiches, and good cakes and snacks in a modern, light space. But the main point here is the tea: black, oolong, green, infusion and "superteas" that help with stress, diet, etc. And, of course, that expensive commodity, white tea, with the now-ultra trendy Silver Needle costing £3.25 a cup. They really care here, there's a tea of the week and the charming owner is delighted to try to convert you to different tastes. As it's just outside St. Paul's Cathedral, it's a great stop for visitors.
