Barrafina Description:
Sam and Eddie Hart's Barrafina is stylish, with one L-shaped marble counter with high stools for just 20-plus customers who can sit and sip any of the well-chosen 31 wines by the glass, or a sherry, and watch the chefs at work at the steel hotplate. The freshest of ingredients make the best tapas which include plates of thinly carved jamons, razor clams, squid and prawns and dishes like the classic tortilla, cooked in front of you. It's fun, friendly and provides plenty of entertainment in front of your eyes. The only quibble so far is the inevitable queuing---there is a no-bookings policy and they have a remarkably relaxed attitude to customers lingering over their food and wine.
