Memorial Stadium - Lincoln Description:

Parking:

Game-day parking for all lots surrounding Memorial Stadium is
reserved for Athletic Department donors. Improperly parked
vehicles or those found in a restricted area will be towed at
the owner's expense. Downtown Lincoln has various public
lots, garages and street parking that is available on a first-
come, first-served basis.

Handicapped parking is available to vehicles with a state-issued
placard or license plate, on a first-come, first-served basis at
a public lot on 19th and R Streets, or at hooded meter spots
on 14th and Vine Streets. A free shuttle operates from the
public lot that drops off on the east and west sides of the
stadium.

Public Transportation:

Fans are encouraged to use the convenient game-day shuttle
service through Star Tran. Shuttle service to and from East
Stadium begins two hours before kickoff with the last shuttle
running 45 minutes before game time. Shuttles will return to
the lots immediately after the game. The pick-up and drop-off
points are:
- Southeast Community College at 88th and O Street
- Holmes Lake at 70th and Normal Blvd.
- Westfield Shoppingtown Gateway at 61st and O Street
- State Department of Roads at 14th and Burnham Street
- SouthPointe Pavillions at 27th and Pine Lake Road
- Slumberland/Toys 'R' Us at 27th and Superior Street
- Shopko at 27th and Cornhusker Highway

Cost roundtrip is $8 or get your 'Big Red Express' season

General Rules:

Smoking is not permitted in Memorial Stadium. You must have
both your ticket stub and a pass-out check (available from
gate attendants) to exit and re-enter the stadium.

Miscellaneous:

Gates to Memorial Stadium will open 90 minutes before kickoff.
The gates are numbered in order clockwise around the stadium
from 1 to 24, beginning in the southwest corner. Fans are
encouraged to enter the stadium at the gate printed
on their ticket: however, fans can enter gates 3 through 24
to access East, North and West Stadium via the new
concourse. There are no steps at Gate 16, and Gates 15 and
16 are handicap accessible.

Stadium seating is numbered from left to right, and tickets
designate section, row and seat number. Seat 1 will be on
the left when facing the seats from the field. Please retain
a ticket stub any time away from the seating area.


Driving direction to Memorial Stadium - Lincoln:
From Lincoln Municipal Airport:
Turn right on NW 12th Street as you drive out of the airport.
NW 12th becomes Cornhusker Hwy, which intersects with
Interstate 180. Exit south (downtown) onto I-180, which
turns into one-way, southbound Ninth Street in downtown
Lincoln. Turn left at P Street (just past the Lincoln Journal
Star building), go one block and turn left on 10th Street,
then keep to the right for four blocks to Memorial Stadium.

From Omaha Eppley Airfield:
Follow the signs from downtown Omaha and Interstate 480.
Take I-480 west to Interstate 80, then take I-80 west approx-
mately 60 miles to I-180. Exit south (downtown) on I-180,
which turns into one-way, southbound Ninth Street in down-
town Lincoln. Turn left at P Street (just past the Lincoln
Journal Star building), go one block and turn left on 10th
Street, then keep right for four blocks to Memorial Stadium.
