Cafe Pyrenees Description:
Typical bistro trappings, such as the wine bottle décor and Eiffel Tower-type prints, set a quaint, if familiar, scene at this far north spot. Established in 1990, the restaurant offers a special (and quite good) menu on Tuesday nights with retro prices. We are disappointed by the pâté plate, though, which doesn't come with bread for slathering and only receives a dab of grainy mustard. The French onion soup and pork tenderloin Viennoise with shrimp and full-bodied mustard sauce fare much better. A mostly-French wine list offers plenty of affordable vintages. Be sure to check for wining and dining specials, which are frequent.
