Keka'a Terrace Description:
Diners can sit alongside the koi ponds and watch the ocean in the distance, all the while enjoying a casual island-style meal. Try the large breakfast buffet, or indulge in one of the signature Benedicts such as the ahi Florentine, which is topped with macadamia nut pesto and glazed with wasabi chili pepper-tobiko hollandaise. For lunch, you can create your own salad or flatbread pizza. For heartier fare, we recommend the fish tacos, which come with your choice of ahi or mahi mahi, or the plate lunch, which comes with both teriyaki beef and chicken katsu, in addition to rice and macaroni salad. Dinner offerings are elegant. For starters, try the spicy seared ahi done Cajun-style. Entrées include a nice selection of meat, seafood and pasta. The prime rib is simple yet done well. We also like the Moloka'i honey-glazed ribs, sweet and tender. You can't go wrong with the catch of the day, which you can have prepared seared with a macadamia nut crust, or sautéed in butter with a white wine sauce. For dessert, grandma's hot apple pie is freshly baked and large enough for sharing. Be sure to get it à la mode for the ultimate comforting treat.
