The menu offers basics, like Kauai-grown produce and locally caught seafood, elevated to savory heights. This is the place to eat fresh fish, whether it's steamed sea bass, seared opah topped with blue crab and avocado, or grilled and peppered ahi. If you must have meat, Tidepools knows that territory, too, with the garlic-peppercorn-rubbed prime rib a top choice. Sorbet with tropical fruit is a good finishing touch.
