South Shore Tiki Lounge Description:
This "tikified" lounge mostly serves as a lively bar for the south shore crowd of twentysomething locals and visitors to Maui---happy hour is from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. daily and there's an outdoor dance floor and a big screen TV that plays surf videos all day. And the décor is all nostalgic beach-shack fun, including a huge tiki mask that occasionally spews dry-ice smoke. Aside from a fairly simple menu of burgers, sandwiches and salads, Tiki Lounge also features an impressive selection of gourmet sausages, including chicken-mango-habanero and a quarter-pound vegan dog, as well as hand-tossed pizzas.
