Lulu's Restaurant Description:
From the second floor open-air dining room with killer beach views (and breezy breezes) on all three sides to the large bar with 22 TV screens, Lulu's Restaurant is the sort of place to bring a group of friends for some game-watching or evening libations. The mood is young and fun---just look at all the signed dollar bills from patrons stapled along the walls and ceiling. As for the food, the menu features a variety of bar-type eats including burgers, sandwiches, nachos and wings as well as heartier steaks and seafood entrées. We enjoy the fresh fish tacos in a spinach tortilla with chipotle aïoli, as well as the Magnum P.I. burger packed with bacon, cheddar and guacamole. For heartier fare, try the baby-back ribs, coated in the signature mango-guava barbecue sauce. More adventurous palates can try the burger with peanut butter. We aren't crazy about the barbecue chicken or the hot wings---both chewy and overcooked. Service can be slow, and happy hour drinks can be a bit weak. Evening entertainment ranges from a karaoke contest to salsa dancing to live reggae.
